Mr. Kelly brings more than 17 years of legal experience to Muldowney and Hollingsworth. He concentrates his practice on Family Law — including divorce, custody, support, and domestic violence — as well as Estate and Probate Law, with expertise in will contests, estate administration, accounting actions, and the removal of executors. He also represents clients in Municipal Court matters and real estate closings.

Known for his thoughtful guidance, practical advice, and creative problem-solving, Chris helps clients navigate difficult and emotionally charged legal issues. He is a skilled oral and written advocate, with years of courtroom experience. Whether negotiating a complex divorce settlement or litigating a contested estate, Chris keeps clients informed and empowered throughout the process.

Chris gives back to the legal community as a volunteer panelist for the Matrimonial Early Settlement Programs in Middlesex and Union Counties and provides pro bono representation to indigent clients through Central Jersey Legal Services. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Middlesex and Mercer County Bar Associations.

A graduate of Rutgers School of Law–Newark, Chris began his career as a law clerk for the Honorable Margaret Goodzeit, J.S.C. (ret.). Before joining Muldowney & Hollingsworth, he spent sixteen years at Nemergut & Duff in Woodbridge, including nine years as a partner.

Chris is an active member of the East Windsor/Hightstown community. He enjoys time with his wife and two children, playing softball, coaching youth sports, and being a proud dance dad. A dedicated fan of Philadelphia sports teams, Chris brings his trademark passion and persistence to both his legal work and life outside the office.
